1.What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job inside your browser. They help sites work, remember your choices and, for some sites, measure usage. This policy explains how [Your Legal Entity Name, Registered Address] uses them on the PodReel website and app (the “Service”).

This is the current list. It will change if the Service does, and we will update this page.

3.Cookie categories

  • Strictly necessary: needed for sign-in, security and basic operation. They do not need consent and cannot be switched off in the Service.
  • Functionality: remember choices such as display settings.
  • Performance and analytics: help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. We do not currently use these. If we add them, we will ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
  • Advertising: we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

4.Third-party cookies

When you click a checkout button you are taken to a Stripe-hosted page. Stripe sets its own cookies there to process payments and prevent fraud, under Stripe's privacy policy. Links to social networks open on their own sites, which have their own cookie practices. Embedded fonts and media on the Service are served from our own domain.

6.Managing cookies

  • Browser settings: most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies and site data under “Settings” or “Privacy”.
  • Private browsing: clears cookies when you close the window.
  • Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: we do not track you across other sites, so we treat these signals as already honoured.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop sign-in from working. Blocking local storage only resets your theme choice.

7.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our use of cookies changes. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version, and we will give notice of material changes.
